Do we need to purchase a crib mattress or will the mattress fit the toddler bed?
I am wondering when we purchase a toddler bed, will we need to purchase a new crib mattress as well, or can we use our pre-existing crib mattress? I thought someone here might know the answer. Thanks!

Nope – the mattress from your crib will fit directly into the toddler bed. They do it that way on purpose. I did it with my daughter.
you can most assuredly use the same mattress for a toddler bed…they’re the same size…that’s what we did…we bought a toddler bed for our 2 year old and just used her crib mattress…since they’re the same size why not…and besides it saved us another $60.
