My daughter is about 13 months old and I still have a crib bumper in her crib. She yanks the bumper and ripped it so I was wondering should I buy a new one or just throw the torn one away?

I was also wondering how often you wash the bumper?

Throw the torn one away ASAP! That is how bad accidents happen. The stuffing or even thread strings can cause choking and death. Always throw away torn and damaged things that are around your baby, whatever they are.

Look at your baby crib for about 2 weeks without one. After 2 weeks, you will know if your crib totally looked better with a crib bumper or if it really doesn't matter.

As for washing them, you can go about once every 3 weeks. But if your baby teethes on it or drools on it, you should wash it once a week with the rest of your laundry.
