Where can I buy crib bedding?
I am looking to buy crib bedding that is rare. I do not want to go to Babies R Us as they are so expensive and always out of what I want. Can you suggest a good website with unique baby bedding?
The website you are on right now is a great place to find unique crib bedding. Notice that there are many auctions over EBay with VERY original, and affordable, crib bedding.
From my experience, crib bedding sets are over priced. Yeah, they are really cute though but you might not even use everything in a crib bedding set. I never used the bedskirt that came with the expensive bedding set I bought. I could not even give the bedskirt away to any of my friends either because no one thought they would even use it!

Just search your main interest or decorating idea for the nursery along with the words crib bedding.
For example, I wanted something with daisies. (Slightly realistic) So I searched ‘daisy crib bedding’. I ended up finding something really nice, but forget where I got it.
You can also go to boutiques and ask to look through their catalogs. I found some really nice stuff at places like that, but it’s quite pricey.
Another way you might want to consider, and maybe you already have, is to ask a family member or friend who is a seamstress or a great sewer or knows how to crochet really well and make the baby blanket and then you find matching sheets, and bumper to go with it. That way you will have the unique baby bedding set your looking for and its extra special for your little one. I did a trade with my mother in law for the bedding she made my girls, I taught her how to make marinara sauce and pasta from scratch as a trade for her making the bedding. I bought her what she needed as well and she gladly made the bedding for me. Both sets consisted of light weight blanket for summer, a heavy one for winter, 2 sheets, a crib bumper, toddler pillow for when they where ready for one. And she just told me she just finished new bedding sets for the girls for Christmas and this year our trade off is I teach her how to make this crumb cake my Noona was famous for. It works for us. This is just my opinion but you don’t need all that bedding. I have yet to meet anyone who uses the huge comforter and half my friends didn’t even use the bed-skirt. The bedding sets might be cute but they are over priced and not that handy.
